Tor for CME level coordinators ( Updated March 2012)


Terms of Reference for CME Level Coordinator
The follow states the Terms of Reference for the Civics and Moral Education (CME) Level Coordinator:
  1. Development of teaching material  
    1.1 Develop and improve the Scheme of Work for CME
    1.2 Develop Teaching Resources for CME

  2. Implementation of lessons
    2.1 Ensure that CME teachers conduct CME lessons for the level as stated in the timetable
    2.2 Provide feedback to HOD CE on the above matter.
    2.3 Champion the teaching of CME
    2.4 Encourage and motivate CME teachers to deliver their lessons well.
    2.5 Conduct regular CME lesson briefing sessions.[ Recommended fortnightly]
    2.6 Provide updates to CME teachers on adjustments to CME lessons

  3. Assessment
    3.1 Oversee the assessment and grading for CME by CME teachers
    3.2 Ensure that CME grades for each class calculated and entered accordingly by respective CME teachers for their level.
    3.3 Make contributions and recommendations to any future improvement for CME assessment.

  4. After Action Review
    4.1 Evaluation of CME lessons and Scheme of Work at annual end of the year review exercise
    4.2 Obtain feedback from CME level teachers regarding the teaching of CME lessons. 

  5. Professional Learning Team for CCE
    5.1 Be an active member of the CCE PLT
