Sengkang West National Day Celebrations - August 2012

After months of preparation and many late evening meetings, Pei Hwa's students putting up a series of performances to entertain our residents and community leaders. Heading the preparations were Mr Kevin Chong, teacher-in-charge of the choir, Mr Daniel Beng, Teacher-in-charge of the school band and AEP coordinator , Miss Derlynn Chng, IC for Wushu and Mr Daniel Lim, HOD Character Education and Community Engagement.
Showing fantastic school spirit, our ex-students came back to support our pupils. Even the Emcee for the evening was our pupil from our 1st batch of students.

On duty that balmy evening was Mr Daniel Beng, Mr Jamal, Mr Kevin Chong, Mr Raghu , Miss Grace Tan and Mr Daniel Lim. Thanks also to our resident photograher Roger Chia for the wonderful photos and Mr Joel Neo for swinging by to support the event.

Our Principal, Mrs Lim, was one of the invited VIP guests.

For this and our long-standing community engagement efforts, the school was presented with the "Friends of Sengkang West" Award for 2012. :-)

Happy to be part of the Work Brigade!
